I wish i read your site before going to playa del coco. we came home early as we were also at the small beach next to playa del coco. We were robbed, didn’t see it coming. Only a couple of boys in the water and man talking on cell on beach. We saw them at all times. No one else around and when we went into the water our bag with expensive camera, visa, condo key and watch were stolen.

Yes, there is a terrific pool and beside Cocomarindo there is a small gym which costs around $37 a month.

We had a similar experience but weren’t quite so lucky. We have to find a customs broker and pay taxes before they will release our package. We had ordered something on the internet. Automatically, duty applies. Thanks to your directions, we didn’t waste time going into Puntarenas, but we did discover a quick way to the post office.
If you turn off Hwy 1 on CN27 heading towards Puntarenas, you will see a big blue and white ‘Florida’ bottling company sign. Make your next left. Go straight, thru the turnabout, and another 4 or 5 blocks. On the left side of the street, you will see Iglesia Bautista Bíblica El Roble. Turn left down that road and the post office is right there.
It was busy and there were a lot of gingos there. Most seemed to pick up their parcels without having to pay duty because they were ‘gifts’ sent by relatives. It also seemed typical that 1 out of 4 parcels gets selected for this treatment. 3 out of 4 parcels get delivered to the appropriate apartado in the appropriate center without any hassle.

Hola a todos los lectores;a todos en “LA DOLCE VITA”. Que decir: yo hace mas de un ano no visito el restaurante porque estoy fuera de Costa Rica,no conosco los nuevos generentes en persona pero no meto en duda hagan un buen trabajo y aparte esto “LA DOLCE VITA” se caracteriza por un lugar agradable,en medio de la naturaleza,personal muy gentil y atento,comida buenisima,desde platillos costarricenses,pizza,comida italiana exquisita,calidad precio muy buenos,les invito a visitar PLAYAS DEL COCO,GUANACASTE, visitar el restaurante y veran que quedaran satisfechos,un saludo a todos.
