I’ve decided to list my scooter for sale. I bought it brand new in December 2009 from the dealer in Liberia and it cost me $1650. I’ve really enjoyed driving around on the scooter but now I intend upgrading to a small motorcycle so I can travel around the country.
The scooter for sale is great for zipping around town, going to the beach, to the gym, to the supermarket, even for going into Liberia or Santa Cruz. It handles the highways surprisingly well, although the small wheels make it a bit bumpy if you are going fast. It can go around 80km/hour.
It is a Chinese brand which makes it a bit cheaper than the Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki equivalents, but this one is 150cc instead of the regular 125cc, so it has a bit more power, especially if you are climbing a steep hill with a passenger.
Gas consumption is great! Usually it costs around $3 to fill it and that lasts me about a week. It came with a six month warranty but that has now expired, although the workshop in Liberia is cheap, convenient and easy to deal with. It is called Motos Liberia and Heriberto is the manager and he speaks English. His number is 8322-5999. They are located behind Burger King in Liberia.
It has about 3500 kms and I am looking for $1000US. It is at my apartment in Playas Del Coco.
